It is used to treat bradycardia, or a sluggish heartbeat, with atropine sulphate injection. In situations of cardiac arrest, it aids in reestablishing regular heartbeat. To decrease saliva production, this injection is also administered prior to general anesthesia. Even some pesticide toxicity can be treated with it.
