Tablets of metamizole, often referred to as dipyrone and marketed as analgin in some countries, are a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic drug (NAISD). It is generally used to treat fever and discomfort.

It is used to treat pain and fever from conditions that do not respond to other NAISDs, such as headache, toothache, arthralgia, neuralgia, high fever, post-operative pain, and other disorders.
