Oxymetholone is an androgen and anabolic steroid drug predominantly used to treat anemia. It is marketed under the trade names Anadrol, Anapolon, and others. In some circumstances, it is also used to enhance weight gain and muscle building, treat HIV/AIDS wasting syndrome, and treat osteoporosis.
